Yams - The Usual Way

Just wanted to add a quick one here, should you want to change things up this holiday season. If you wanted to make sweet potatoes new way this Thanksgiving year, I wanted to share our usual recipe with you. This is how we make our sweet potatoes most of the time:

1-2 yams, clean them and slice them in half inch circles
3-4 garlic cloves, diced
1 teaspoon of zatar spice
grapeseed oil
1/2 - 1 teaspoon of salt
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Add the aluminum foil to the tray and add grapeseed oil. Add your yam circles to the tray, sprinkle your salt, zatar, and garlic on top and drizzle with grapeseed oil.

Cook for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes passes, flip the circles and cook 10 more minutes. Check the yams with your fork to make sure they are perfectly cooked. If they are done to your satisfaction, transfer them to a plate and eat!!

Enjoy!
Have a great week!
